“My accomplishments are what you see in my paintings. I paint from life, but I’m also able to paint from good digital photographs. It’s a challenge that I enjoy. I love painting people more than anything and especially the eyes, which are the entrance to the soul. People are the most fascinating and beautiful subject of all! I see so much in a person. There is so much mystery and beauty of the spirit. I want to capture this essence and make it come alive in my work. That is my goal.”

Commission Overview

At least one photography session, either in the subject’s space or elsewhere is usually required. In some cases, I may be able to work from high quality digital photos that you provide. Minimum cost for a small portrait ranges from $2,500.00 to $5,000.00. Large portraits start at $10,000.00.
